As women become increasingly
more important in the Spanish economy, self-employment
is seen as an alternative to working for somebody else in
the labour market. The choice can also be the result of personal
preference: fulfilling the desire to reach “the glass
ceiling”, the desire to be your own boss and to have
independence and autonomy in your actions, the desire to develop
a project freely.
Due largely to the difficulties
in accessing financing, businesses set up by women are small,
both in investment and workforce.
Women’s World Banking
was created in response to this need. Its
aim is to support women in the financing of their business
projects and encourage them in their role as businesswomen.
How
can Women’s World Banking help you?
