Loans
with collateral
- Microloans without collateral
- Microloans
in rural areas
While arranging loans with
collateral, we could see that there were many women who didn’t
make it, because they didn’t have collateral or anyone
who could be a guarantor. Because of this in the year 1989
Women’s World Banking started up the first
program in Spain of loans for women without collateral.
Since this date the savings
banks (or building societies) have played an important role
by managing the program of microloans through their social
projects.
Women’s World Banking
has signed agreements with various
financial organisations, with the aim of offering the
best financing to Spanish businesswomen: for example with
Microbank La Caixa, CajaSol, CajaGranada and Aval Madrid.
How to apply for a
microloan?
1.
Prepare your business plan:
The first thing is to have
a clear idea of what
you want to set up and put it in writing: the business
project. This explains the type of business you wish
to set up, which products and services you are going to
offer, how it will be organised, etc. You can find information
on how to prepare the business project on the web page www.autoempleomujer.com.
2. Contact Women’s World
Banking.
We help you to clear
up any doubts and finalise
your business project, before analysing
your viability. Also we help
you to define which microcredit program best fits your needs
and offers you the most favourable conditions.
3.
Women’s World Banking processes
your business project with the chosen financial institution,
so that your application can be reviewed and your microloan
agreed.
4. Women’s
World Banking will accompany and help
you to start up your business
as well as to develop
it.
